TRADA in the Regions – separate workshops for architects, engineers and timber suppliers

TRADA has launched a new series of its popular ‘In the regions’ workshops to help members come to grips with developments in Europe – and building with timber. The sessions will cater for the specific needs of different member groups.

For engineers, the event will provide an overview of how Eurocode 5 and new product standards are shaping future design. Timber suppliers will gain an understanding of how the impending Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and soon to be compulsory CE marking will impact on their market and how to meet the challenge. For architects, the programme will include an inspirational case study featuring timber, with insight into wood as a material and the scope it offers for innovation.
