A fast growing renewable energy company has been selected to partner with one of the UK’s leading small wind turbine manufacturers.
Eco Environments, whose head office is in Liverpool, has been granted the prestigious Value Added Reseller (VAR) status by Scottish firm Proven Energy.
Securing the sought after VAR status comes at a good time as Proven has just announced that its flagship wind turbine, the Proven 35-2, is now fully certified through Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
This testing is an industry requirement to assist customers in making an informed decision when selecting a wind turbine and is crucial for end users to access the Feed in Tariff (FITs) scheme.
Eco Environments has recently unveiled office openings in Darlington, Manchester, Penrith and Tamworth and revealed that a number of further offices were in the pipeline for 2011.
The company specialises in providing homes and businesses with renewable energy solutions, specialising in Solar Photovoltaic (PV), wind power using wind turbines, solar thermal water heating systems and heat pumps.

“The full MCS certification for Proven’s 35-2 wind turbine is further good news as customers are becoming increasingly knowledgeable about the benefits of the Feed in Tariff scheme which allows home owners and businesses to be paid for every Kilowatt hour of electricity they generate, whether they use it or not. In addition, they save the equivalent amount by not having to buy the amount of electricity they have generated while also being paid for any electricity they export.”

For some this means the guarantee of Feed in Tariff and for others it means peace of mind that they have invested in a quality and reliable product.”
