When to use Mineral Wool

Mineral wool is used in a wide range of applications that harness its impressive thermal and acoustic insulation properties as well as providing fire protection.

By volume the largest market segment for mineral wool use is in insulating buildings: residential, commercial and industrial.

Common applications for buildings include:
