Water Regulations

The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) promotes information on the Water Regulations throughout the UK including the interpretation and enforcement for the prevention of waste, undue consumption, misuse, erroneous measurement or contamination of water.

WRAS provide an advisory service for and on behalf of Water Suppliers and for any other person or body seeking guidance on the principles of Water Regulations.

By law, all owner and occupiers must ensure that their plumbing fittings have been designed, installed and maintained correctly to make sure that drinking water is not contaminated or wasted.
