Introduction

Envirotile is a completely NEW lightweight, innovative, interlocking roof tile that offers outstanding performance never achieved before!

Envirotile offers unrivalled technical performance along with excellent eco-credentials. Its precision crafted design fully utilises the latest in recycled materials technology, which not only ensures every tile meets the highest standards, but also makes installation easy for installers. Envirotiles are far lighter than traditional tiles, resulting in cheaper transportation, reduced CO2 transport emissions and places less structural requirement on the roofing supports.

The Envirotile is a roof tile that is faster to lay, safer to use and can outperform traditional pitched roof tile and slate products, yet is made from reprocessed material and sustainable resources and is fully recyclable at the end of its useful life. The tiles are manufactured by an injection moulding process conforming to the highest standards, creating high quality roofing products using recycled materials normally destined for landfill disposal – giving the customer peace of mind.

The colour and finish of the Envirotile can be made to specific customer requirements.

General Installation Information

Envirotile, incorporates a unique, interlocking system which has been globally patented. Each tile has an invert which locks into the tile next to it, as well as pins on its underside which fall into apertures, to prevent movement and leaking.

Designed with the labourer in mind this system is so much easier to handle and at least 25% quicker to fit.

Envirotile is 80% lighter than a standard concrete tile, weighing just 8.4 kilos per square metre in contrast with cement or natural slate products that weigh on average 50 kilos.

Envirotiles reduce the risks associated with manual handling, reduce the time spent working at height and reduces the risk associated with falling tiles.

No eave courses are required due to the innovative design, saving on overall material cost and installation speed.

An installation guide is provided for download in the ‘Download Information’ tab.
