Introduction
Furanflex is the only non destructive procedure with which chimneys of any shape, size or length can be lined with a corrosion proof, flame and heat resistant, air tight tube made of a composite material with the solidity of steel without any joints.
Furanflex is the ideal solution for all chimney lining, flue lining and ducting repairs, being mainly used in the restoration of flues and chimneys that are leaking, have undergone a change of appliance, or have been brought back into use.
In the UK Furanflex has been used to line chimneys in schools, listed buildings, high rise buildings to town houses.
Furanflex is a Glass fibre reinforced thermosetting resin and it can be installed on gas, oil and solid fuel appliances. Furanflex has lined chimneys of various lengths and diameters ranging from 6m high and 150mm diameter up to 80m high and 800mm in diameter.
