Businesses vary in size, their set up and their working practices.

Most commonly, there is one person responsible for uploading information to the site and another dedicated to the job of PR and Marketing.
(Occasionally the same person does both jobs!)

The reason there are two email addresses in the Your Details tab of your dedicated Upload and Admin Area is to help in the logistics of getting these two jobs done efficiently.

1. First Email Address

Add the person’s email address who is responsible for Marketing your business where it says Your Email. You will receive a FREE marketing tool each time a content item is posted on the Wholebuild site.

• You can forward this automated email to your members, associates, clients and other contacts to further promote your business’ activities online.
• Any recipients are also free to continue passing this to their own contacts and beyond….a fantastic way to help you spread your company’s information far and wide!
• They too may like to get involved in showcasing products, projects, and talking about issues surrounding their business.

Note: Tagged individuals and businesses – especially if they are also linked to more in depth information, means that readers – your potential clients and members, have easy access to really useful and interesting information supplied by highly regarded associations, building product and service professionals and contractors.

Getting your contacts involved too may well result in being able to tag and link you back!

2. Second Email Address

Add the person’s email address responsible for Uploading Content to the Wholebuild site.

Add, edit and remove information for:

• Informative articles
• Latest press releases
• Useful tips and advice
• Inspirational galleries and case studies
• Exhibition dates
• Training opportunities including seminars, workshops, CPD’s and accredited courses
• Publication details

Remember: Paying Members who have at least one product or Service Microsite are free to add as many content items as they like so long as they meet Wholebuild Terms and Condtions and Quality Criteria.

Of course!

When you are strapped for time or manpower, a Service Package Agreement allows you to take an active role on the Wholebuild site knowing that you will get the very best out of this marketing opportunity.

Your dedicated Wholebuild team member will upload information on your behalf – be it Product and Service Microsites or content items such as a case studies and press releases.

You are very much kept in the loop with auto-generated emails each time information is added to the Wholebuild site. Your dedicated team member will touch base with you at a prearranged time (usually every 4 – 6 weeks) to do a spot of house keeping with you – in essence, editing and removing any information you feel is not current and up to date.

They can help you analyse your Stats to see how many hits your information has received and can use these figures to help you plan any Promotional campaigns on the site.

All round, it’s a great way to further promote your business to your target audience.

N.B Don’t forget, that even with a Service Package Agreement, you still have the ability to access your own Upload and Admin Area in the usual way to update any details such as a new email address: Add, edit and remove product, service and marketing information: Organise promotions: View Statistics.

Although we provide your target audience with a way to contact you via your product or service Microsite, there will be people who will contact you a different way – by going directly to your website via the hyperlink in these details.

You will see that these ‘hits’ have been clocked in your Statistics tab. You can factor these details in when you analyse the effectiveness of any advertising and promotional campaigns you have on the Wholebuild website.

You may also want to investigate in this respect – not just how many hits you are getting from Wholebuild to your own website – but also for business activities you have on other websites: Google Analytics.

From here you can actually see how many people have visited your website from other websites, the time these people – your potential customers, have spent on the site: comparisons with the number of people who have visited your website in any other time frame….. We reckon it really helps to see the bigger picture.

As a valued member, we constantly look to improve the services we provide. We will work hard to promote your business and strive to keep people contacting you and visiting your website for further information.

What you can do too:

• Continue your good work and keep uploading new pieces of information including product and service detail so that people keep coming back for more!
• Watch your inbox for regular educational emails we’ll be sending out showing you exactly what you need to do to make Wholebuild work hard to promote your business.
• Forward the free marketing emails you get (each time you upload information) to your members and contacts.
• Get any professionals and contractors you know involved too and use Wholebuild’s automated links any time yours or another Members name is referenced anywhere on the site to link to the Member’s website concerned. This increases hits, leads and enquiries and helps Members pick up more sales and work.

Depending on the number of items you have on the site, an average session may take about 15 – 30 minutes. Your liaison, will also be able to answer any questions you may have about Wholebuild promotions such as Section Sponsorship and Banner Advert slots, how to promote your business as a highlighted business in Wholebuild’s own marketing campaigns and answer any other questions that may crop up at this time.

Q. I want to add html code into my text. Is this possible?
